Patient Transporter

Shift: 0800 - 1600 (hours may vary)

Job Summary and Qualifications

Under general supervision, transports patients, equipment, supplies, and other items throughout the hospital to support patient care and operational efficiency. Assists with patient movement, transfers, and related transport activities while following established safety and infection prevention protocols and demonstrating behaviors consistent with the organization's Excellence Always standards. Coordinates with clinical and support departments to facilitate patient flow and ensure the timely delivery and retrieval of equipment. Performs related duties as assigned.

What qualifications you will need:

• Previous hospital and/or office/business experience desired
• Ability to lift, push and pull with assistance (mechanical or co-worker), the weight of the average patient specific to the department
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
