As an Auto Detailer and Car Washer, you will lead our commitment to exceptional cleaning practices, exceeding standard protocols to ensure the health and safety of everyone.You will be responsible for washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and vans, ensuring they meet our high cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals.ResponsibilitiesThe Car Sales Automotive Detailer will clean the interior, exterior and refurbish used vehicles to prepare for sale. This employee will exhibit a professional appearance and comply with all uniform and personal protective equipment requirements while adhering to local environmental regulations.Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocolsPolish, wax and buff exterior of vehicles which might include cars of different sizes, as well as vans and trucks.Vacuum interior, floor, seats, ashtray and trunkShampoo/Clean carpets, floor mats and upholsteryOperate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odorsMay use detail methods such as wet sand and clay barMaintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditionsApply engine degreaser application to the engineMaintain an inventory of cleaning suppliesExhibit a professional appearance and comply with all uniform requirementsAdhere to local environmental regulationsWork is performed outside in all types of weather and temperatures and in a typical office environmentAdditional ResponsibilitiesSeek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal settingMaintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctualityPerform miscellaneous job-related duties as assignedEqual Opportunity Employer/Disability/VeteransQualificationsMust be at least 18 years oldMust have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 yearsNo drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 5 yearsMust be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
