Warehouse AssociateTexas Meter & Device is seeking a full-time warehouse worker in the Denton, TX area.We are looking for individuals with:Strong logistical skillsStrong problem-solving skillsStrong mechanical skillsStrong customer service skillsGreat driving record and habitsGreat attitudeAttention to detailsAbility to pass a background check and drug screeningA PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREEN WILL BE REQUIRED.Under the general direction of the Project Manager or Field Supervisor, warehouse personnel will manage all logistics in the warehouse including inventory, staging areas and overall order of the facility.Responsibilities include:Manage new inventory sets for electric, water and/or gas devicesManage old inventory as it arrives at the end of the dayMaintain the order and cleanliness of the warehouse facilityThe safe use of the forklift and pallet jackMaintaining old device cataloging and pallet wrappingAssist managers and supervisors in maintaining daily processes as it pertains to inventory and fleet.Maintain accurate records of materials needed for use and reordersOther duties and tasks as assigned or necessaryRequirements:Previous warehouse experience strongly preferredMechanical aptitude is necessaryAbility to work with minimal supervisionAbility to stand on feet, bend or stoop for a prolonged period of time. Some work is performed outdoors and through inclement weather as necessaryAbility to carry out duties in a safe and efficient mannerStable multi-year work historyAttention to detailDependability and reliabilityGood communication skills (speaking, reading and writing)Must have a valid driver's license and an excellent driving record. For insurance purposes, must be at least 21 years of age and have a minimum of 3 years of personal or professional driving experience. Must have ability to safely operate a company vehicle when needed.Must have steel or composite toe work bootsMust have own personal smart phoneGood understanding of MSWord and ExcelAdditional requirements: Background check clearance including drug screening and I-9 documentation as required by lawSalary Info:$20.00/hourGenerally, Monday – Friday with weekend work as needed to support the Project and Project Manager.
