Warehouse Worker in Lewisville, TX

As a warehouse worker, you will follow set and strict procedures for issuing parts from inventory for work-in-process orders, material usage, and for shipping products. You will be responsible for picking materials, identifying shortages affecting production schedules, and reconciling inventory to help eliminate extra costs and minimize manufacturing downtime. Additionally, you will recognize various types of material receipts at the dock, sort them by type, and deliver them to the appropriate locations.

Responsibilities:

• Issue parts from inventory for work-in-process orders and material usage.
• Ship products to customers following established procedures.
• Pick materials and identify shortages affecting production schedules.
• Reconcile inventory to help eliminate extra costs and minimize downtime.
• Recognize and sort various types of material receipts at the dock.
• Deliver materials to appropriate locations.

Essential Skills:

• Experience with inventory control and material handling.
• Proficiency in order picking, packing, and using RF scanners.
• Preferred computer experience.
• Experience with high volume or automated distribution centers.
• Knowledge of ERP systems preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

This is a contract to hire position based out of The Colony, TX. The pay range for this position is $17.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
