Quality Specialist

The Quality Specialist role is a critical and active role to maintain sustainable desired deliverables for NAM Remanufacturing. This role directly reports to NAM Remanufacturing Leader and will provide dotted line to product line leadership where applicable. In this role, the Quality Specialist will provide quality oversight of specific Remanufacturing products for both internal and external suppliers.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Work independently throughout multiple factories internal/external with multiple departments and areas
• Support Lean activities as required
• Engage actively in the facility through direct and remote communication
• Maintain and update quality documents (Work instructions, Procedures, Forms, Templates)
• Manage document distribution and version control
• Enter quality data into databases
• Support quality read across including BIQ implementation where applicable
• Manage supplier NCR/SDR and routing to appropriate party
• Review and collect supplier performance KPIs
• Supplier engagement for 4D/8D RCA resolution
• Site inspections as needed to include fixtures, stored components, process audits, etc.
• Prepare audit documentation and materials
• Assist with Audit follow up actions
• Conduct on-site audits including external sites when required
• Review quality record data inputs from internal/external suppliers and provide analysis based on record review
• Schedule and manage support of quality meetings
• Track meeting minutes and action item tracking

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Ability to work 1st Shift (7am-330pm)
• High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Must have 6 months mechanical, quality knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Minimum 1 years experience in administrative activities
• Minimum 1 years experience or working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and Quality Management System procedures

• Proficient in various functions of Microsoft Office
• Strong written/oral communication skills
• Ability and willingness to take initiative, and work without direct supervision
• Ability to work with a wide variety of personnel at all levels inside and outside of the facility
• Should be able to work overtime when necessary to meet operation objectives
• Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
• Ability and willingness to work in range of environments to include but not limited to industrial facilities, manufacturing facilities, and power industry facilities

Pay Transparency: The base hourly pay range for this position is $40 - $50/hr. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
