SAGE Dining Services® is seeking a full-time high-volume cook to join our team at a private school in Plano, TX. This role supports a fast-paced dining program featuring elevated cuisine across multiple food concepts, with a strong focus on quality, consistency, andteamwork.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Experience in high-volume food production, preferably with upscale or multi-concept dining programs
  • Ability to quickly assess daily priorities and follow direction from the Sous Chef and Executive Chef
  • Strong multitasking skills, including managing daily production and prepping for upcoming service
  • Proven skills in preparing soups, sauces, and foundational recipes
  • Strong organization, time management, and a sense of urgency and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain accurate weekly inventory
  • Positive, team-oriented approach with strong communication and a friendly presence within the kitchen and school community
  • Professional, reliable, and easy to work with, down-to-earth with a respectful attitude at all times

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday
  • 6 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
  • Occasional evenings and catering events

Pay Type:

$21.00 - $23.00 Hourly

Prepare assigned menu items in strict accordance with SAGE recipes, safety, and allergen policies that exceed our guests' expectations.

Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing.

Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members.

Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques (HAACP).

Experience with cooking in a commercial kitchen.

Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English.

Ability to interact with SAGE guests and Team Members in a professional and positive manner.
