Night Crew Supervisor

The Night Crew Supervisor leads overnight store operations, ensuring efficient stocking, proper merchandising, and readiness of the store for the next business day. This role supervises the night crew team, manages workload execution, and ensures all stocking, facing, and cleanup tasks are completed to company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all night stocking activities to ensure shelves are fully stocked and organized
  • Assign and prioritize workload based on deliveries and store needs
  • Ensure completion of all overnight tasks including stocking, facing, and recovery
  • Prepare the store for opening, ensuring a clean, safe, and presentation-ready sales floor
  • Supervise unloading of deliveries and proper product handling
  • Ensure efficient stocking across all departments, including grocery, dairy, and frozen
  • Monitor backstock organization and ensure proper inventory flow
  • Identify out-of-stocks and communicate replenishment needs
  • Ensure shelves are faced, leveled, and aligned with planograms
  • Support ad set execution, display builds, and promotional setups
  • Verify accurate pricing, tags, and shelf conditions
  • Maintain overall store presentation standards overnight
  • Supervise, train, and coach night crew associates
  • Delegate tasks and ensure timely completion of assignments
  • Monitor productivity and provide feedback to improve efficiency
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented environment
  • Enforce all company safety procedures and guidelines
  • Ensure proper use of equipment such as pallet jacks and stocking tools
  • Maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment
  • Follow all company policies and operational standards

Qualifications

  • Previous stocking or grocery experience required; leadership experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of stocking processes and merchandising practices

Working Conditions

  • Overnight schedule including late nights and early mornings
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Exposure to varying temperatures (sales floor, cooler, freezer, backroom)

  • Store readiness and presentation by opening
  • Stocking efficiency and completion of workload
