The Range in McKinney is a family-owned indoor shooting range, and we are seeking a Retail Counter Associate, 21 years old or older. If you have excellent people and customer service skillsand enjoy working in a retail environment, we want to hear from you. You must be able to work a flexible schedule (weekends, weekdays and some holidays) and have reliable transportation. Candidate will have exceptional customer service skills, be able to multi-task, take care of members/guest quickly and efficiently and work without direction.

Job Description:
The Retail Sales Associate will be responsible for the following duties:
Greet members and guests
Perform sales transactions using a computerized point of sale system
Assign shooting lanes – coordinate range traffic
Assist with firearm rental(s)
Assist members/guests in choosing a new or rental firearm – once trained
4473 and NICS Background check process once trained
Answer phone calls
Sell ammunition, memberships, classes and merchandise
Communicate safety requirements to members and guests – once trained
Perform opening and closing tasks
Be willing to learn about the firearms industry
Be responsible for the retail area
Keep the inventory in order
Be able to work an event when needed
