Overview Geometrics Engineering is seeking a highly motivated Mid-Level Civil Engineer (PE) to join our Civil and Aviation Practice. This position is based in our Dallas (Plano), Texas office and follows a hybrid work mode, with an expectation of working in-office a minimum of three (3) days per week to support team collaboration and project delivery. This role is ideal for a self-driven professional who can seamlessly integrate into existing project teams and contribute immediately to ongoing Delivery Orders across multiple airport, infrastructure and private programs. The position is best suited for someone who takes ownership, leads by example, and works collaboratively to foster a positive and respectful team environment.The position requires an individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, supporting both design and construction-related efforts while coordinating closely with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.Key Responsibilities Perform civil design for aviation and infrastructure projects including grading, drainage, pavement, and utility design.Work independently and collaboratively within existing project teams to support active Delivery Orders.Utilize Autodesk platforms (Civil 3D, Autodesk Construction Cloud) and/or Bentley platforms (MicroStation, OpenRoads, Geopak) for design development and collaboration.Provide leadership within project teams by mentoring junior staff, proactively solving problems, and contributing to a collaborative, solutions-oriented team environment.Coordinate with project managers, construction managers, and program controls teams to align design with schedule and budget.Develop and review design drawings, specifications, quantities, and cost estimates.Participate in constructability reviews and provide input during construction phases.Interface with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies as required.Support preparation of technical reports, design memoranda, and construction documents.Ensure compliance with FAA, local agency, and client-specific standards.Qualifications BS in Civil Engineering (MS preferred)Professional Engineering (PE) License required7–12 years of experience in civil engineering designStrong experience with Civil 3D, ACC, and/or Geopak (or equivalent platforms)Experience in aviation, transportation, or large infrastructure projects preferred; familiarity with FAA standards is a plusStrong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skillsHighly self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountabilityAbility to work in a hybrid environment based out of the Dallas (Plano) office, with a minimum of three (3) days per week in-officeCollaborative team player with the ability to integrate into existing teams and lead effectivelyProfessional, respectful, and able to work productively in fast-paced, high-pressure environmentsWillingness to travel occasionally for field visits, client meetings, and project coordinationSalary $115,000 - $140,000/yearThe Company Geometrics Engineering is a civil engineering design, project management, and construction management firm with a strong focus on airport infrastructure.
