Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, Texas, 75074Job Summary Responsible for preparing and delivering coursework in engaging, innovative, and discipline‑appropriate ways that reflect the college's core values, culturally responsive teaching, and knowledge of the teaching field. Meet professional faculty standards in accordance with college policies and procedures.Responsibilities Teach courses according to the class schedule and follow the approved course descriptions and syllabi.Assignments may include teaching on multiple campuses, off‑site locations, evenings, weekends, or dual‑credit courses.Work exclusively on‑site; this position is designated for in‑person instruction and does not include online teaching.Perform other duties as assigned and maintain all standards in accordance with college policies, procedures, and core values.Adhere to Texas Education Code §51.992 and college work arrangement policies.Participate in departmental meetings, student advising, and professional development as required.Requirements Bachelor's degree in insurance, risk management, business, finance, or a closely related discipline.Commitment to culturally responsive teaching and professional standards.Ability to work in a sedentary office environment with occasional light lifting.Security Sensitive position – subject to criminal background check.Work Environment & Physical Demands Sedentary work involving prolonged sitting, occasional standing, walking, and light lifting of up to 10 pounds.
