Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards
  
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately
  
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction
  
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change
  
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning work stations, and ensuring food safety protocols are followed
  
• Assist in food preparation tasks, including slicing, packaging, and assembling ingredients for quick service
  
• Support food industry standards by practicing proper food handling and sanitation procedures
  
• Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with coworkers and supporting restaurant operations during busy periods
  
• Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours and maintain high-quality standards throughout your shift
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory training will be provided!
  
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
  
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications
  
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but not required training will be provided!
  
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk quickly between stations, and lift moderate loads as needed
  
• Commitment to food safety standards and sanitation practices in all tasks
  
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently during busy hours
  
• Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation, cashiering, and restaurant operations
  
• Previous experience working in a caf or retail grocery store is advantageous but not essential
