Industrial Services Tool Repair Technician3833 Airport Rd, Denton, TX 76207TX100 Distribution CenterPart-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm20 - 28 hours/weekOVERVIEW:Working as Part-time Industrial Services Tool Repair Technician, you will be involved with the overall success of the department by efficiently repairing and quoting a wide range of power tools, including Electric, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic. You will be working on a variety of tool manufacturers, including most major national brands. Having a customer focus and attention to detail in a very fast paced and productive department is necessary to be successful in this position. Some travel may be necessary to complete manufacturer-authorized training. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.RESPONSIBILITIES:The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:o Processing customer power tool repair work orderso Quoting repair costs on a wide variety of power toolso Repairing a wide variety of power tools in a timely mannero Communicating with Fastenal branches and vendorso Following all International Standardization Organization (ISO) quality procedureso Complying with safety regulationsREQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:o Excellent written and oral communication skillso Proficient computer skillso Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgencyo Mechanically inclinedo Highly motivated, self directed and customer service orientedo Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environmento Work independently as well as in a team environmento Willingness to work a flexible scheduleo Willingness to travel for trainings and customer visitso Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamworko Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbso Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:o Previous experience in the Power Tool Repair or a related fieldABOUT US:Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
