This role is a part of the Financial Services Technology Top of House Command Center and is responsible for driving horizontal initiatives that support ~1500 associates across the division. The individual in this role will lead the Financial Services Technology (FS Tech) annual business rhythm (annual strategic planning, monthly business reviews, quarterly business reviews, etc); divisional governance processes; strategic initiatives; labor strategy; campus programs; learning and development; associate engagement; and communications./ppCandidates should have a passion for technology, strong strategic command, an engaging executive presence, exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills, expertise in relationship-building, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once. Candidates should be excited about improving the daily lives and development of our engineers and helping leaders advance our strategy at scale./ppSpecific responsibilities related to project management include:/pulliServe as a strategic thought partner for our Financial Services Technology leadership team, helping guide the operations and management of the organization. Lead the divisions Developer Enablement program./liliAct as a central point of contact between the Financial Services Technology leadership team, Enterprise Tech leadership and other key partners. Ensure alignment of leaders across the organization./liliPrioritize and focus leaders in a number of key areas (goals, labor strategy, budget, associate engagement, culture, operational excellence, etc). Aid the leadership team in strategic planning, uncovering critical efficiencies and preventing duplication of effort./liliUnderstand the organizations strategy and vision, lead the LT to drive and track goals and priorities. Tackle and solve issues through escalation and articulate the issues that need to be done to elevate the team and allow easy accountability./liliAssist the leadership team with strategic planning including financial, workplace, and resource planning in collaboration with key partners/liliCreate and manage effective, scalable processes to manage operating rhythms. Requires an ability to lead and influence to inject new operational processes to drive executional discipline and excellence. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked./ppPlano, TX: $187,300 - $213,700 for Director, Project Management/ppCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter./ppThis role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
