Come be a part of this incredible and inclusive team at Invited!/ppThe Equipment Operator is responsible for a variety of tasks involved in golf course maintenance and construction, utilizing various equipment and tools. This role includes operating machinery for groundskeeping, assisting with semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work, and supporting other related duties to ensure the course is maintained to the highest standards./ppReporting Structure:/pulliReports to the Equipment Manager/li/ulpDay to Day:/pulliOperate powered equipment to mow golf course areas, including putting greens, slopes, collars, roughs, aprons, and tees./liliPerform daily equipment inspections and checklists to ensure proper functionality and safety./liliWash, fuel (if applicable), and store all equipment in designated areas after use./liliKeep equipment and tools out of the field of play and minimize noise to maintain a respectful environment for golfers./liliOperate light equipment for tasks such as hauling materials and removing debris./liliPrepare sand bunkers for daily play by using appropriate equipment and procedures./liliWater and fertilize putting greens, tees, fairways, and roughs as instructed./liliGrade and prepare soil plant beds, lay sod, plant vegetative material, and seed putting greens, tees, fairways, and roughs./liliChange cups on greens and move tee markers as directed./liliMaintain ball washers, water coolers, water hazards, and bunkers, ensuring they are clean throughout the day./liliKeep all golf course areas, including tee boxes, flowerbeds, and work carts free of debris./liliTrim trees, prune shrubbery, and cultivate flowers and other landscaping elements as needed./liliAssist in the construction of new greens, tees, and fairways by grading, preparing soil, and planting./li/ulpAdditional Duties:/pulliDue to the dynamic nature of the club, employees are expected to assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management./liliFollow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions./liliMaintain a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff./liliFollow safe working practices, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and encouraging others to do the same./liliTake the initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to your role./liliAddress and resolve challenges using available resources, working with regional and corporate teams to support club operations./liliAttend daily briefings and actively engage in required activities to stay informed and contribute to the teams success./li/ulpAbout You:/ppRequired:/pulliA minimum of 1 year of experience operating equipment in a golf course or landscaping environment./liliA minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience with various types of golf course maintenance equipment, including understanding replacement parts, supplies, and resources needed for equipment upkeep and repair./li/ulpPreferred:/pulliHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent./li/ulpPhysical Requirements:/pulliPrimarily outdoors with frequent exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures and humidity./liliSitting, standing, walking, climbing/ladders, squatting/kneeling, reaching, grasping, pushing/pulling, twisting/bending, lifting/carrying up to 100 lbs., talking, hearing, and seeing./li/ulpPrimary Tools/Equipment:/pulliConstruction tools (shovels, axes, sledgehammers, etc.)/liliGardening tools (pruners, rakes, hedge shears, trimmers, etc.)/liliBlowers/liliGrass Mowers/liliTractors/liliMechanical tools (wrench, drill, screwdriver, etc.)/li/ulpWork Schedule:/pulliAttendance requirements for this position as outlined on the weekly schedule./liliAdditional hours are required to meet deadlines of the position, including weekends and/or holidays./li/ulpWhat We Offer:/ppWe believe in taking care of our team, and our Total Rewards package reflects that commitment.
