The Assistant Controller supports the Controller in overseeing the day-to-day, monthly, and annual operations of the Accounting Department. This role is responsible for financial reporting, general accounting, treasury functions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and budgetary controls for assigned entities and departments. The Assistant Controller also plays a key role in managing staff, maintaining internal controls, and improving financial processes and reporting efficiency. This position is partially eligible for remote work, with supervisor approval. Essential Functions. Prepare, review, and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, forecasts, and reporting packages for assigned entities. Oversee and coordinate the monthly and annual close processes, including analysis and explanation of material variances and fluctuations to the Controller.
