Create dental treatment plans and coordinate oral health care during patient consultations. Recommend a personalized treatment plan that may include a combination of treatments like: Scaling & root planning Gum recession therapy Bone/tissue regeneration Osseous surgery Specialize in prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease (a chronic inflammatory disease that affects the gums and bone supporting the teeth also known as gum disease), and in the placement of dental implants Perform dental implant treatments, including preparing your bone and gum tissue for implants and treating a failing implant Adhere to all federal and government regulations, including the state dental board rules and regulations. Provide leadership and direction to clinical support staff in all areas of patient treatment. Qualifications: DDS or DMD degree and specialized training in Periodontics.
