This is a high-activity sales position designed for a professional who loves the hustle of winning new business, the strategy of account rounding, and the reward of uncapped commissions. What Success Looks Like (Key Outcomes) Production: Sell over $50,000 in new premium per month. Efficiency: Maintain a closing ratio of over 50% through consistent follow-up. Speed to Lead: Connect with new inbound inquiries in under 5 minutes. Retention: Work toward a 88% agency retention rate and 70% multiline account average. Activity: Average 4 community/networking events and 4 meetings with Centers of Influence (COIs) per month. Key Responsibilities Active Sales & Prospecting: Execute a daily cadence of outbound calls to lost business, monoline accounts, and unsold quotes. Needs-Based Selling: Stop, listen, and ask questions to understand client needs; sell on policy features and value rather than price. Account Rounding: Proactively identify coverage gaps to cross-sell Umbrella and other essential policies. Follow-Up Excellence: Commit to a rigorous follow-up process (5–6 calls for new leads and pricing presentations) to maximize close ratios. Community Presence: Actively network and identify referral partners to build a consistent pipeline of high-quality leads. Documentation & Precision: Update carrier websites and the agency management system (AMS) immediately after every interaction to ensure data integrity. Collaborative Growth: Share social media content, suggest blog topics, and obtain 5 new client testimonials monthly to support agency branding. Requirements Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License is REQUIRED. Proven track record in sales or a strong desire to hit high-activity production goals. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly. Willingness to be available for prospects on their time (occasional evenings/weekends for web inquiries).
