Job Description As a Security Officer Clearance DOD Required Patrol in Plano, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.53 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a defense-related location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, or facility issues according to post orders.
• Support site operations by maintaining detailed logs, completing incident reports, and assisting with emergency and/or evacuation procedures when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
