divh2Job Summary/h2pThis position provides strategic leadership, direction and coordination of Inogens patient-focused sales staff and initiatives. The position will be responsible for leading a sales team across multiple locations comprised of sales management and inside sales professionals who will focus directly on homecare patients. The VP Direct to Patient Sales will also have responsibility for Inogens physician sales team./ppThe VP Direct to Patient Sales will be responsible for developing sales plans, forecasts, expense budgets, and strategies, as well as achieving targets and business results in accordance with Inogens Annual Operating Plan./ph2Responsibilities/h2p(Specific tasks, duties, essential functions of the job)/pulliResponsible for sales performance of team and accountable to deliver sales results per plan. Develop and refine sales plan and forecast on an ongoing basis, reflecting continuous improvement./liliDevelop expense budgets and manage team expenses within plan./liliProvide coaching and assistance to team members to ensure the sales team is adequately prepared to interact with Inogens customer base, that policies, procedures, and work instructions are followed consistently, and that training is consistent and sufficient./liliEnsure Direct to Patient inside sales and Referral Development Manager outside sales channels are aligned and work effectively together to meet Inogens goals and exceed customer expectations./liliOwn and lead the development and modification of sales department policies, procedures, and work instructions. Make ongoing improvements based on metrics to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance./liliWork with Sales Management and Sales Members to execute trials that generate sales expansion, improve efficiency, and reduce costs./liliDevelop and analyze metrics to interpret and explain underlying drivers of sales performance. Present findings in formal business reviews with executive staff./liliEstablish a team culture of respect and achievement, leading by example./liliWork with EVP, Sales and Marketing to set appropriate performance metrics and implement action plans to address variances./liliTrack performance metrics and generate sales reports to manage team performance effectively./liliEnsure sales processes are followed and all regulatory and compliance requirements are met./liliContribute to the continuous improvement of customer service./liliCollaborate with other department managers to promote teamwork focused on patient service and operational efficiency./liliMeet human resource goals through coaching, development, and implementation of programs that attract and retain top talent./liliWork with team members to develop best practices and continuous improvements./liliComplete additional special projects as needed./liliMaintain regular and punctual attendance./liliComply with all company policies and procedures./liliAssist with any other duties as assigned./li/ulh2Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities/h2ulliStrong business acumen./liliOperationally data-driven management approach./liliTotal quality mindset with familiarity in Six Sigma principles./liliExperience collaborating with senior executives to develop high-performing leadership teams./liliResults-oriented leadership approach./liliProven track record of delivering strategic results and successful team participation./liliStrong work ethic./liliExcellent oral and written communication skills./liliHigh attention to detail./liliEffective conflict resolution skills./liliAbility to mentor and motivate large sales teams./liliStrong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills./liliSolutions-oriented mindset./liliExcellent planning, communication, and organizational skills./liliAbility to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams./li/ulh2Qualifications/h2p(Experience and Education)/pulliBachelors degree in Business, English, Communications, or a related field (required)./lili15+ years of experience in Sales or Customer Service (required); 5+ years with 65+ demographics preferred./lili10+ years of management experience with a minimum of five direct reports./liliAt least 3 years of Director-level experience in a large corporation (required)./liliAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (required)./liliEquivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered./li/ulpInogen assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $167,000.00 and $200,000.00 annually plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Commission Plan. However, actual base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and will be based on non-discriminatory factors, including as to individual skills, education, experience and market location.
