Adecco is immediately seeking a Stock Room associate, this associate would also be responsible for material handling. Attention to detail and efficiency are extremely important in this role. This associate would perform a wide range of tasks including working with various components, parts, and kitsalongside inventory. This is an hourly, non-exempt, full-time position. This is 1st shift, 7:45 AM-4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Pay depends on experienceTypically Reports to:Lead, production manager, management, and other key personnelQualifications:+ Must be a US citizen or permanent legal resident.+ Must have the ability to work efficiently and work well in a team environment.+ Must be punctual and have good attendance.+ Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.+ Minimum high school diploma or GED, or+ 1-2 years of experience in inventory, shipping/receiving, and electronics industry-related equipment+ Must be detail oriented and have good organizational skills.+ Must be able to accomplish basic data entry tasks on a computer.Preferred Qualifications:+ Experience with inventory, shipping/receiving, and electronics industry-related equipment.Physical Demands and Activity:+ Possess physical strength necessary to unload, lift, and carry heavy boxes.+ Stooping, bending, and lifting a minimum of 40 pounds.Essential Functions:+ Capable of using computer skills for basic data entry, inventory tracking software, and ERP systems+ Verify parts, kits, and quantities of items.+ Properly operate equipment such as, but not limited to, weight scales, reel counters, and computers.+ Prepare and issue kits for production assembly.+ Ensure proper labeling and organization of stockroom items.+ Receive, inspect, and store electronic components and raw materials.+ Package finished goods, label packages accurately, and ensure packaging meets customer and carrier specifications+ Understand and properly use materials provided by process engineering to perform the job and make sure that all equipment is running properly and safely on a daily basis.+ Immediately notify the lead in the event that any equipment is malfunctioning.+ Perform proficiently at a quality standard set by the company's mission and commitment statement.Marginal Functions:+ Maintain a clean work area.+ Associate will be required to take all appropriate training classes as required.+ Willingness to cross-train into other departments.**Pay Details:** $16.00 to $18.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
