Location: Plano, TX -Locals (Hybrid)

Requirements

• Proven experience in technical policy writing, preferably within cybersecurity or IT compliance domains.
• Strong proficiency with Markdown (MD) formatting and converting MD documents to HTML.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub for version control, collaboration, and deployment workflows.
• Understanding of machine-readable policy formats and automation principles.
• Solid knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST), and IT security controls.
• Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail in technical documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively across technical and compliance teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to support policy deployment.
• Knowledge of security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud security policies and controls.
• Prior experience in Agile or DevOps environments.
