Medical Talent's credentialing specialists are responsible for adhering to the Joint Commission and Facility guidelines all while ensuring our handpicked candidates meet their start dates. The right person will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with our candidates as well as VMS credentialing department. This position is for individuals who understand deadlines, the ability to handle multiple files and the passion and drive to grow professionally as well as personally. We are looking for an individual who is willing to put in the work for success.
Required Duties:
• Communicate with Nurses/Allied professionals during the compliance process.
• Send out requirements and keep track of the file progression to ensure files are complete on/before the due date.
• Aid with any health-related items candidates may need.
• Monitor and maintain credentials & licenses.
• Maintain communication with the candidates regarding expiring credentials to ensure they are renewed.
• Upload credentials to various VMS CRM/ATS systems in a timely manner
• Maintain strong relationships and communication with VMS credentialing departments.
• Maintain compliance deadlines to ensure good standing with clients.
• Ensure candidate onboarding through Paylocity is accurate and complete prior to file due date.
• Ensure candidates meet all requirements prior to the first day of work unless provided with written approval.
• Maintain JCAHO standards.
• Update required monthly CMIP data on the Joint Commission Connect website.
• Maintain files in Labor Edge (or any ATS).
• Maintain all current and revised hospital requirements in Labor Edge/ATS
• Upload all credentials into Labor Edge/ATS
• Ensure we have standard and consistent naming conventions to keep files streamlined and easy to understand.
Additional Requirements:
• High School Diploma
• A bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of ATS software preferred, but not required.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Proficient in the suite of Microsoft Office products
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not a requirement.
• Data driven.
