JOB SUMMARY:The primary role of the Production Utility Specialist is to act as a production floater between departments (based on business need). Primary job responsibilities will fall within the Receiving/ Parts Inventory/ Shipping function areas, but employees may also perform Gearbox Assembly Support and general labor functions associated with facility expansions.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* Assist with duties related to production, production expansion and interdepartmental production flow.* Assist with general inventory and parts including the Receiving, put-away, inventory audit, cycle counting and parts pulling.* Using ProGlove, assist in the pulling of parts from inventory in preparation of Gearbox. Ensure the correct parts are pulled based on the bill of materials.* Assist in the unloading of incoming parts and product placement within Inventory.* Other various shop-floater duties that revolve around production expansion or production fulfillment.JOB REQUIREMENTSEducation:High School Diploma or equivalent required.Experience:1-2 years preferred, but not required. Forklift experience preferred, but not required.Skills and Key Attributes:Ability to read and write. Basic math skills.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for 10 hours/day.
