The Scrum Master is accountable for establishing and supporting Scrum within the team and the wider organization by ensuring that Scrum theory, practices, and rules are understood and enacted correctly. They serve as servant leader, coach, facilitator, and change agent, guiding the team toward continuous improvement and higher effectiveness. How You Will Contribute: Serving the Scrum Squad Coach squad members in selfmanagement and crossfunctionality, reinforcing Agile and Scrum values. Help the squad focus on creating highvalue increments that meet the Definition of Done. Influence the removal of impediments that block squad progress. Ensure all Scrum events occur and are positive, productive, and timeboxed (Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Standups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, Release Planning, and Roadmapping). Serving the Product Owner Support the Product Owner in effective Product Goal definition and backlog management techniques. Facilitate squad understanding of clear and concise Product Backlog Items. Promote empirical product planning for complex environments. Facilitate stakeholder collaboration when needed. Serving the Organization Lead, train, and coach the organization in Scrum adoption. Help teammates and stakeholders adopt an empirical approach to complex work. Remove barriers between stakeholders and Scrum Squads.
