Yoh has an exciting, opportunity for several Production Technicians to join our Autonomous Technology client with locations across the US. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who are within a commutable distance to the office in Dallas, TX (Frisco) for an onsite work environment.

Title: Production Technician
Compensation: $23.00-29.00/hour, depending on experience level
Type: Direct Hire

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and configure various aircraft systems, including Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), avionics, Ground Control Stations (GCS), Ground Support Equipment (GSE), Ground Data Terminals (GDT), and electronics.
• Assist in troubleshooting, component removal/replacement, testing, and documentation in accordance with approved technical publications, maintenance standards, and procedures.
• Perform trimming, painting, and bodywork on UAV components.
• Assemble, test, and support engine ground runs and break-ins.
• Modify or repair composite components as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of aircraft.
• Interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and work instructions/manuals for part fabrication.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in aircraft production/manufacturing, including but not limited to composite layup, avionics fabrication, avionics installation, aircraft final assembly, and ground support.
• Solid time management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interface cooperatively with departmental personnel and customers.
• Strong safety work ethic, with an understanding of proper handling of hazardous materials, chemicals, tools, etc.
• Proficient in computer skills, including MS software programs and other relevant production-related applications.
• Analytical and problem-solving approach with a continual pursuit of perfection.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt quickly to departmental needs.
• Experience in painting and bodywork, knowledge of electrical systems installation and composite structures.
• Experience with drones/UAVs (preferred but not required).
• Airframe and Powerplant License (preferred).
• Familiarity with AS9100, IPC-A-620, and IPC-A-610 standards (preferred).
