ABOUT THE ROLE:

NT Logistics is seeking a Logistics Sales Representative to join our Frisco, TX office. In this role, you'll build and manage carrier capacity in a fast-moving spot market—negotiating rates, solving problems, and moving freight daily.

You'll play a key role in ensuring freight moves efficiently and profitably while working closely with carriers and internal teams. Success in this role comes from urgency, strong communication, and a solutions-oriented mindset.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Source and manage carrier capacity to support daily freight needs
• Negotiate pricing with carriers to maximize margin and service levels
• Manage a high volume of shipments with speed and accuracy
• Proactively solve real-time issues (delays, capacity constraints, service failures)
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers to ensure reliable coverage
• Collaborate closely with sales and operations teams to support customer opportunities
• Track and communicate shipment status to ensure a high level of service

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, or a related field preferred
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Coachable mindset
• Knowledge of manufacturing, logistics, warehousing and transportation in a highly regulated industry.
• Experience in freight brokerage or transportation
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), such as McLeod, preferred
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
• Demonstrated use of Microsoft Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Track record of delivering results with a passion to win.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This role is primarily sedentary and performed in an office environment. You will spend most of your time sitting and working on a computer, with occasional movement throughout the office.

The position may require lifting or moving items up to 50 pounds on occasion.
