Position Title: Gold Crib Attendant

Job Summary:
The job of the Gold Crib Attendant is to manage the secured flow and chain of custody for precious alloy and materials into and out of the Denton Plant. The attendant does this by weighing and recording all precious metals as they are both received and issued out of the vault for ring fabrication or to other locations. In addition, the attendant is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory of precious metals and allocating its use for casting, re-alloying, and other production uses. This individual is responsible for the daily collection and processing of gold scrap from the production floor along with verifying that weights/quantities are correct, while conducting and reporting weekly cycle counts of precious alloys, analyzing/correcting inventory variances and being involved in quarterly inventories.
The Gold Crib Attendant is also responsible for issuing out manufacturing supplies to the shop floor, managing inventory levels by keeping log of supplies issued, completing cycle counts on manufacturing supplies to ensure accurate inventory levels, accepting shipments on the dock and delivering items to various departments, and assisting the materials department with other tasks as needed.
Accurate perpetual inventory and inventory record keeping accuracy is a must for this position
Job Specifications:
Effective at organization and prioritization of daily tasks/materials
Must be able to evaluate/analyze information accurately with a high level of detail and focus
Must be able to minimize inventory levels on hand without stock outs
Must be able to perform mathematical calculations
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. constantly
Must be able to operate pallet jack
Must be able to follow and maintain security controls related to the gold crib
May stand or walk 95% of the work day
May sit 5% of the work day
Must be computer literate in Excel, Word, Outlook
Must be able to work scheduled hours to include overtime
