Summary

The Pogue Assistant Scheduler utilizes exceptional organization and communication skills to share, update & explain construction project schedules to Pogue Team Members. They spend ample time reviewing data and working to update project schedules to match the current status of the build and insert them within the schedule tracker.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Participate in the project's pre-construction phase, advising on all constructability timelines
  • Visit project sites to walk the job and coordinate schedules with the project team as determined by management
  • Collaborate with project teams to update project schedules (to include tracking delays)
  • Support team to develop short-term construction schedule ("3 week look-ahead")
  • Track critical activities and changes to the critical path impacting the project
  • Provide a summary and report on project progress to the executive team
  • Advise and assist in the development of the company's scheduling policy
  • Understand, implement & uphold Pogue procedures and processes
  • Administrative & File Organization
  • Assist Field Service Coordinators/Admin with Schedule Matrix for WIP Meeting
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Expectations
  • Knowledge of assigned plans and specs
  • Experience with the critical path method of scheduling
  • Working knowledge of all trades
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Open, honest, and frequent communication
  • Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of the critical path method (CPM) scheduling
  • Time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Solid analytical skills to collect and interpret data
  • Proficiency in understanding blueprints and contracts

  • Proficient in Microsoft Project (scheduling software)
  • Use submittal tracking software and logs
  • Utilize Procore & Autodesk Build Software for plan review
