The role of a Guest Advocate can provide you with the ski l ls and experience of : + Communicatingand interactingwith guests to buildawelcomingguest experience + Blendingproblem solving and decision making to positivelyimpactthe guest experience and resolve guest concerns + Adaptingto different guest interactions and situations + Promoting and engaging aroundvarious benefits,offeringsand services As a Guest Advocate, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities: + Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments: + Greet: + 10ft: be friendly u2013 smile, make eye contact, or wave + 4ft: greet the guest, smile andinitiatea warm, helpful interaction + Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience + End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you + Actively support team efforts andassistpeers in other areas whilemaintaininga positive and respectful attitude + Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience + Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard + Make the guest aware of current promos,storeactivitiesand events.Understand and show guests how to use the features and offerings within the TargetAppincluding Wallet. + Know and speaktothe benefits of Target Loyalty programs with every guest andassistwith application,sign-up, and signing inas needed. + Scan and bag all guest items efficiently,accuratelyand in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices. + Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time whilemaintainingguest service and accuracy. + Be familiar withOrder Pick-Up, Drive Up andonlineordering,and know how to direct the guest to enroll, activate and use these features. + Attempt every returnor exchangeand follow register prompts;partnerwith immediateleaders as needed to help solveissuesfor the guestwhile following Targetu2019s policies and procedures. + Maintain a clean, clutter free work areabygatheringunpurchaseditems, baskets, and hangersfor removal. + Stock supplies during storeopenhours while being availablefor the guest. + Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct,safetyand compliance. + Work in a safe mannerat all times;comply withall safety policies,best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible. + Support guest services such as order pick up (OPU), Drive-up (DU) Orders,DUReturns andmaintaina compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and localadult beveragelaws. + All other dutiesbasedon business needs.
