Adecco is actively seeking a qualified AOI Operator and Programmer. Previous experience with the OMRON AOI machine is not required but always preferred.
Brief Job Summary:
· Operating any equipment relevant to AOI and other duties assigned by the lead
· Hourly, non-exempt, full-time position
Typically Reports to:
· Lead, production manager, management, and other key personnel
Qualifications:
· Must be a US citizen or permanent legal resident.
· Must have the ability to work efficiently and work well in a team environment.
· Must be punctual and have good attendance.
· Minimum high school diploma or GED, or
· Experience with AOI machine equipment
· Must be able to read, write, and understand English
· Must be detail oriented
Preferred Qualifications:
· Knowledge of SMT and various components
· At least 1 year of experience operating an AOI machine
Physical Demands and Activity:
· Use of hands and tools to properly perform the job.
· Lift minimum of 40 pounds
Main Functions:
· Works with travelers to guide their work and the assemblies through the manufacturing process
· Able to load feeders and inspect components
· Create and modify oven profiles
· Working with SMT machinery
· Operate reflow, X-ray machine, and AOI machine
· Understand and properly use materials provided by process engineering to perform the job and make sure that all equipment is running properly and safely on a daily basis.
· Immediately notifying the lead in the event that any equipment is malfunctioning.
· Performing all required preventative maintenance and maintenance for the machine's operation and documents per our “Good Documentation Practices Procedure” on the proper logs.
· Maintain a clean work area.
· Perform proficiently at a quality standard set by the company's mission and commitment statement.
Additional Functions:
· Associate will be required to take all appropriate training classes as required.
· Willingness to cross-train into other departments.
