Fiber Optic Field Assistant

High demand, high wage opportunity with paid training included. We are hiring reliable and technically inclined candidates for a Full-Time Fiber Optic Field Assistant role. This position supports field-based fiber optic network installations and maintenance while offering structured training, certification, and long-term career growth in the telecommunications industry.

Opportunities throughout the state of Texas

Paid, structured training provided

Seven (7) weeks of virtual instruction, followed by one (1) week of in-person practical training

Certification issued after successful completion of the training program

Training begins at the end of April 2026

Interviews will be conducted remotely

Support fiber optic technicians with cable installation, testing, and maintenance

Assist with job site preparation, equipment setup, and cleanup

Follow fiber optic safety procedures, technical standards, and company guidelines

Perform basic testing and troubleshooting under supervision

Communicate progress, issues, and documentation to supervisors and team members
