Hotel Accounting Manager/Sr. Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Sr. Staff Accountant to oversee the financial operations of our hospitality properties. • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and hotel policies
• Supervise accounting staff, providing training and performance evaluations
• Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and ensure timely completion
• Monitor cash flow, revenue, and expenses to optimize financial performance
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard hotel assets
• Collaborate with management to develop financial strategies and improve operational efficiency

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
• Proven experience in hotel or hospitality accounting management
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and hotel operations
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Effective leadership and communication abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
