SAP AI Center of Excellence (AI4U) Team

Inspire, Innovate, Implement: AI on BTP. We will inspire customers in the art of the possible with AI + SAP, we will innovate new techniques, technologies, and methodologies to bring them to life and we will manifest our vision into reality through POCs. We are hiring deeply capable technical team members who are experts in data strategy, data science, python, vectorization and knowledge graphs, BTP functionalities (SAP Build, AI Core, GenAI Hub, UX, BDC, Integration Suite, etc.), ML, AI training, MCP, Joule extensibility, Agentic frameworks and more. The preferred candidates will be insatiably curious, have unbounded creativity, a deep desire to teach and learn, and a passion for sharing our stories with our customers, partners, and SAP colleagues. Each team member must be willing to receive and GIVE feedback to the team to maximize knowledge transfer, lessons learned and best practice development. Let's invent some fire together!

Each candidate must demonstrate strong technical aptitude in a minimum of one domain with secondary knowledge in others. Our platforms and technologies change quickly, so a clear demonstration of your flexibility, learning, and ability to execute will be critical to your success. Senior team members should be able to conduct multiple job skills effortlessly. All roles must have experience with the latest Generative AI LLMs. Candidates demonstrate experience and skills across multiple areas: Develops machine learning models and algorithms, processes data, implements AI solutions, develops UIs to express AI capabilities, conducts some research and development on new technologies and more. Experience in training custom, 3rd party or open-source AI models is desirable. Proficiency in programming languages (Python, JavaScript), knowledge of ML and agentic frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain), various ML models for classification, regression, anomaly detection etc., data preprocessing, model training and evaluation, application architecture design, DevOps and CI/CD. Knowledge of SAP Build, GenAI Hub, SAP HANA Cloud, BTP Services. Understanding of foundation models, MCP, A2A, agentic swarms and pipelines, SAP BDC, ETL processes, database management, data pipeline construction, AI security and AI ethics. Knowledge of big data technologies, ability to build predictive models, and help in the decision-making process using statistical analysis, data visualization, machine learning. Proficiency in data science tools (Jupyter, Pandas), and strong analytical thinking. Experience with NodeJS, SAP CAP, and AI coding assistant tools is desirable.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and/or 10 years of expertise in various applicable technical roles Proven experience as an SAP Architect with expertise in AI technologies and SAP BTP. Proficiency in SAP BTP services, including SAP AI Core, SAP AI Business Services, SAP Integration Suite, and SAP Extension Suite. Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph) and programming languages (e.g., Python, Java). Familiarity with SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Data Intelligence, and SAP Analytics Cloud, Vector Engines, Knowledge Graphs, A2A and MCP technologies Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Front End Knowledge in JavaScript, HTML, Fiori Web components (desirable), calling APIs Knowledge of data governance, security best practices, and SAP Fiori application development.
