Title: UX ResearcherLocation: Frisco, TX/ Alpharetta, GAComplete onsiteUX Designer* Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights on user needs, behaviors, and pain points.* Analyze research findings to inform design decisions and create user personas and journey maps.* Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows.* Collaborate with the Director of User Experience and other team members to iterate on designs based on feedback and usability testing results.* Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers, fostering a collaborative design environment.* Maintain comprehensive design documentation, including design specifications, user flows, and style guides, to ensure clarity and consistency across projects.* Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, effectively communicating the value of user-centered design.* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in UX design, and share knowledge with the team to foster a culture of learning and innovation.Requirements* 6+ years of experience in user experience design, preferably in a digital product environment.* Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, or military experience.Preferred Qualifications* Experience working with financial software products.* Experience with AI technology.* 5+ years of experience with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite).Team and ResponsibilitiesUX ResearcherAs a UX Researcher, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including UX/UI designers, product managers, developers, and program managers—to ensure user-centered design principles drive our solutions Your research will inform and shape exceptional user experiences that align with business goals and customer needsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Experience Design (XD) or a related field (e.g. Information Science, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Marketing) Advanced degrees and certifications are a plus Experience: 5-8 years in UX research within industry or agency settings Conduct, analyze, and synthesize user research to inform design decisions Develop and advocate for research strategies and methodologies across projects Plan and execute usability studies, both online and in the field, to uncover user needs and mental models Provide actionable recommendations to improve user experiences Test business requirements using heuristic and qualitative research methods Research & Problem-SolvingStrong analytical and conceptual thinking skills Ability to translate research findings into clear insights and strategic recommendations Excellent verbal and written communication skills Collaboration & LeadershipPartner effectively with UX/UI designers, product teams, and developers to ensure research findings translate into actionable design improvements Lead research discussions and presentations, articulating findings and design rationale to stakeholders Mentor and guide junior researchers or designers when necessary
