Location Overview:
Situated near Fort Worth, TX, this assignment is at a premier healthcare facility known for its comprehensive services including emergency care, maternity, cardiology, and robotic surgery. The hospital is conveniently accessible and serves a broad community, providing a high-quality, compassionate patient experience with a personalized approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory therapy care in the NICU and ICU settings, with a focus on neonatal and pediatric patients.
  • Perform advanced procedures such as arterial blood gas (ABG) draws, assist with intubations, and deliver nebulizer treatments.
  • Operate specialized equipment, including Servo I ventilators and I-Stat devices.
  • Document patient care using Meditech system accurately and timely.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and positive outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
  • Minimum 2 years of hospital experience, including NICU and ICU expertise.
  • Proficient in ABG draws and respiratory emergency procedures.
  • Current BLS certification mandatory.
  • Experience with Servo I ventilator and I-Stat preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to treat patients across all age groups respectfully and empathetically.
Shift Details:
  • 7:00 PM shift, 36 hours per week, weekends every other week.
  • 13-week assignment with guaranteed hours.
  • No call requirements.
Dress Code & Professional Standards:
  • Black scrubs required for RRTs (must be purchased).
  • Strict grooming policies including clean, neat hair and limited visible piercings.
  • Nails must be clean and free of artificial enhancements; body art should be covered.
