About the Role:

Star Sleep & Wellness is ready to welcome new talent to our Wellness Team at our McKinney location!

We are excited to continue the growth of our practice with new additions to the team that are passionate about patient care and can add value to our workplace culture.

As a key member of our Wellness Team, you will collaborate closely with our doctors and mid-level providers to diagnose and treat sleep disorders. You will also manage your own patient column and handle a variety of appointment types daily. The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, highly detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and within a team. While education and experience in the medical field is appreciated, this is not required. We are willing to train individuals with a desire to work in healthcare! All new team members receive comprehensive, in-depth training to ensure their success in the role.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Manage a column of virtual patients each day, handling communication before, during, and after appointments.
• Analyze patient paperwork to determine symptoms and needs prior to the appointment.
• Assist with patient paperwork completion when needed.
• Complete chart preparation within 48 hours of each scheduled appointment, confirming items such as cost and patient information.
• Connect patient symptoms to emotions, helping establish what matters most to the patient.
• Verify the validity of previous HSATs when presented.
• Support medical providers by conducting comprehensive patient pass-offs.
• Assist in educating patients alongside our medical and dental providers on sleep apnea and other sleep disorders, treatment options, and sleep study instructions.
• Complete duties related to scheduling and patient payments with a high level of accuracy.
