Baylor University Medical Center - - Responsibilities: Schedules surgical procedures and adjusts surgical schedules to maximize utilization of resources.; Coordinates with surgeons, OR staff, and other departments about scheduling information and equipment availability.; Assembles, prints, and distributes OR schedules and publishes schedules five days in advance.; Enters data into the OR scheduling system and maintains patient confidentiality.; Coordinates block bookings and communicates changes, postponements, and returns of surgery blocks.
