Description
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable live-in Caregiver to provide support to an adult with developmental disabilities in a home environment. This man resides at home with his family and requires assistance from a caregiver.

Schedule:

• Weekdays: 3:00PM-9:30PM
• Weekends: 12:00PM-7:00PM (Friday and/or Saturday)

Job Duties:

• Stay in the home during your shift to provide supervision and support
• Help residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and taking medication
• Prepare meals and assist with special dietary needs
• Drive residents to day programs or community activities
• Keep the home clean by helping with chores and laundry
• Plan and participate in recreational and daily activities
• Monitor residents' health and report any concerns to supervisors
• Complete daily notes and incident reports as needed
• Respond calmly and appropriately in emergencies

This position is ideal for someone who is patient, responsible, and committed to helping others live safely and independently.

Requirements

• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (preferred)
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record (preferred)
• Pass pre-employment and annual background check
• Pass pre-employment and periodic drug testing
