About the Role

As a Customer Experience Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional experience to our customers throughout their journey with CarMax. Your mission will be to provide guidance and support in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a simple, seamless process as they buy and sell cars. Your effectiveness in collaborating with teams across the organization will be essential in making every customer interaction a positive one.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service, guiding customers from the first inquiry through to sales completion, vehicle appraisals, test drives, and financing arrangements.
• Conduct thorough assessments of vehicle conditions, documenting and communicating the necessary information for customer appraisals.
• Oversee the intake and check-in process for vehicles shipped to CarMax, performing daily scanning and inventory reconciliation.
• Execute cosmetic inspections to ensure vehicles meet CarMax's high-quality standards.
• Handle various administrative tasks such as printing reports, maintaining paperwork, liaising with finance companies, and managing transaction documents.
• Schedule service appointments and review repair orders for accuracy, ensuring seamless billing processes.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred experience in sales and customer service, particularly in retail.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred.
