Job Summary

• The Laborer, Yard/Shop is responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist mechanic by performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of large and small engines

Education and Experience:

• Minimum 6 months of experience with basic truck and vehicle maintenance and repair

• Small engine, 2 cycle experience

• Diesel Engine, heavy and light equipment experience

• Bilingual (Spanish/English)

• Welding experience

Physical Demands/Requirements:

• Regular Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds

• Repetitive movement: standing, walking, twisting, turning, bending squatting, stooping

Work Environment:

• Noise level in work environment is usually moderate and Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions including sun, rain, cold.
