What to Expect
The Recovery Associate is primarily responsible for collecting and servicing end of term and charged off accounts via inbound/outbound calls to consumers to collect on balances while performing various support functions. This role will manage multiple queues consisting of end of term accounts as well as retail and lease deficiency and secured charge off accounts involving researching, negotiating and effectively resolving higher-risk balances.
What You Will Do
1. Account Recovery Activity
· Collect and service end of term and charged off accounts via inbound/outbound consumer calls to collect on charged off balances.
· Properly document the collection effort and update customer information in the system of record.
· Manage multiple ends of term and charged-off account queues including deficiency, secured matured, PPA, Dismissed Bankruptcies, insurance deficiencies, small balance and various others.
· Negotiate terms to maximize recoveries on accounts worked.
· Effectively resolve higher-risk balances.
· Meet or exceed collection, productivity and quality objectives while complying with internal policies and procedures.
2. Repossession Activity
· Identify and track accounts requiring repossession.
· Assign and follow through on out-for-repossession vehicles.
· Utilize various means of sip tracing to locate consumer's contactable phone numbers and/or locate collateral.
