Job Description

The Senior Accountant will perform essential accounting functions as directed by Accounting Management, adhering to established procedures.

  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and other relevant documents.
  • Support key components of SEC filings such as earnings releases, investor presentations, and proxy disclosures, along with related tie-outs and supporting schedules.
  • Help prepare quarterly and annual GAAP disclosure checklists to ensure compliance with GAAP requirements.
  • Prepare monthly stock-based compensation journal entries and maintain supporting schedules, tracking equity awards, related activities, and dividends.
  • Handle monthly equity roll forward schedules, tracking share activity and conducting share reconciliations.
  • Assist with monthly earnings per share calculations and related documentation.
  • Engage in efficiency improvements and ongoing initiatives for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and update documentation for key tasks, procedures, and best practices.
  • Utilize financial reporting and accounting systems, including Workiva, PeopleSoft, Blackline, and IBS.
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects that necessitate a strong foundation in accounting principles.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not involve supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from an accredited four-year college or university in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Accounting is preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in accounting, auditing, or financial reporting. Public accounting experience is preferred.
  • CPA or a CPA-track is highly desirable.

Physical Demands

Compensation Details

We believe in competitive compensation. The minimum average base pay for this position is $55,539. The base pay may be increased based on factors such as skills, education, or experience. This amount does not include incentives, bonuses, or benefits. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
