Manager - Accounting Consulting Services

Location: Doylestown, PA (Hybrid: 2-3 days in office)

Position Overview

The Manager of Accounting Services, oversees accounting operations, ensures accurate financial reporting, and manages a portfolio of client accounts. This role includes team leadership, process improvement, and strategic client advisory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise a diverse client base by assessing needs and delivering tailored accounting solutions.
  • Address key account issues and develop effective resolutions using team expertise and technology.
  • Lead and mentor Staff Accountants while upholding firm standards and quality.
  • Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Partner with leadership to refine processes and implement operational best practices.
  • Manage special projects, including operational analysis, audit support, and client-driven initiatives.
Financial Oversight & Reporting
  • Manage financial reporting and month-end close for multiple clients.
  • Support year-end reporting and ensure accurate and efficient financial closures.
  • Provide services including bookkeeping, journal entries, financial statement preparation, cash-flow forecasting, and AP/AR oversight.
  • Enhance financial reporting practices and ensure compliance with regulations, audits, and internal controls.
Experience and Skills
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required); CPA preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Public accounting experience preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online preferred; familiarity with other systems is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem?solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast?paced environment.
