JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking dedicated Room Attendants to ensure a clean, safe, and inviting atmosphere for our guests. As a key contributor to guest satisfaction, you will focus on maintaining guest rooms and performing deep cleaning for an exceptional experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Thoroughly clean and maintain guest rooms in accordance with property standards, including areas such as floors, bathrooms, kitchenettes, and furnishings.
  • Perform deep cleans on rooms after guest departures, ensuring all surfaces, linens, and appliances are spotless.
  • Restock linens, towels, toiletries, and other essential room supplies.
  • Remove trash, sanitize bathrooms, clean floors, dust surfaces, and maintain organized housekeeping carts and storage areas.
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety concerns, or property damages to the General Manager promptly.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of common areas as assigned (e.g., hallways, stairwells, lobbies).
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including the correct use of cleaning products and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Perform additional job duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions in English.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

  • Maintain a professional appearance and provide service that aligns with company values.
  • Be punctual, reliable, and available for scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with the flexibility to cover additional shifts as needed.
  • Follow all safety, security, and operational procedures as trained.
  • Ensure guest information and company data remains confidential.
  • Exhibit adaptability in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team to achieve property goals.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb stairs for extended periods during shifts.
  • Must be capable of lifting/moving up to 25 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Should be able to perform repetitive tasks involving the use of hands and arms for sweeping, mopping, and wiping.
  • Must detect odors such as smoke, gas, or strong cleaning chemicals to maintain a safe environment.
  • Visual abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, as well as the ability to adjust focus.
  • May be exposed to cleaning chemicals, varying indoor or outdoor temperatures, dirt, dust, and odors.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
