Areas of opportunity include Inpatient Acute Care, Medical Surgical Inpatient Care and Intensive Care Unit.

Must be comfortable on patient care floor; must be considerate in relating to the needs of patients and visitors; must have successfully completed the hospital orientation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

DUTIES:

1. Visit patients with our activity cart and offer complimentary items!
   1. Books, coloring items, fidget toys, decks of cards, etc.
   2. Spend time visiting with them and bringing some joy to their day!
2. Help with additional items when in room as needed:
   1. Fill ice water
   2. Offer WOW items (chapstick, tissues, magazines, etc.)
   3. Tidy Up Room if Patient needs things organized
   4. Water Flowers if needed
   5. Make sure phone/call light is within reach

2 shifts available:

• Select Weekdays and Weekends: 10:00 to 14:00 CST
• Select Weekdays and Weekends: 18:00 to 20:30 CST
