Facilities Custodian

The Facilities Custodian will be responsible for providing custodial and cleaning services for the site. Employees in this job class perform a variety of functions to ensure facilities are clean and free of safety hazards.

What will you do:

  • Sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, waxing, polishing, mopping, scrubbing, removing trash, and other duties necessary to maintain good housekeeping in office areas.
  • Cleans and maintains clean rooms to government and/or required specifications.
  • Moving and lifting objects up to 75 pounds.
  • Work Days/Hours: M-F 6am - 2:30pm

Qualifications you must have:

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or AA degree or other 2 year post high school vocational/technical education training with a minimum of 2 years experience including some commercial experience to include the following custodial work:
    • Stripping, waxing, and polishing floors.
    • Cleaning and carpeted areas.
  • Must be willing and able to work shift hours from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (Local) on Monday through Friday.
  • Must be able to work from oral and written instructions.
  • Must have a valid driver's Texas license.

The salary range for this role is 40,000 USD - 70,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
