Job description

Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within allG Warehouse. Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepares items for shipments and will calls. Drives company vehicle to deliver materials to customers or to obtain materials from multiple company locations.

Job Responsibilities

• Performs all duties and responsibilities according to the Core Values of the Company.
• Performs all inside receiving for the Distribution Department.
• Ability to read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and
• Distributes items to production workers.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
• Marks materials with identifying information.
• Opens bales, crates, and other containers.
• Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to Company standards.
• Arranges stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
• Uses computer to enter records.
• Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
• Completes requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments.
• Prepares parcels for mailing
• Maintains inventory records

** Specific Requirements**

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Three (3) years' previous experience in a warehouse environment
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Two - Three (2-3) years' experience driving a forklift preferred
• Pass criminal background check & drug screen
• Ability to read and write in English
• OSHA 10 of 30 (a plus not required)
