GENERAL FUNCTION:

This position will take proper steps to clean and disinfect the facility. Monitor cleanliness and maintenance of fitness center. Assist in laundry operation as needed. Pickup weight room and Group Exercise equipment. Check soap in locker rooms and pick up, meet & greet members, secure facility before leaving. Check wipes and spray bottles are filled on the fitness floor. Communicate maintenance/housekeeping concerns to supervisor. Have high awareness of suspicious characters or activities in the fitness center.

KNOW-HOW:

High school education, or equivalent

CPR and First Aid certification within first 30 days (paid by YMCA)

Good communication and interaction skills

Ability to handle a variety of situations friendly and persuasive manner

Knowledge of YMCA programs and services
