As a Make Ready, you prepare our resident's future home by inspecting it and making sure it's move-in ready.
Assist the maintenance team with any major projects or repairs as well as in emergency situations
What you'll do:
Coordinate the trash out of apartments with the grounds team.
Inspect appliances, faucets, A/C systems, safety devices, etc. to ensure they are in working condition.
Inspect work of the unit's construction and point out any chipped or missing paint, flooring, tile, etc.
Identify parts, supplies, materials, and pending items needed to complete the unit turn in a timely manner.
Perform routine maintenance as needed by replacing exterior light bulbs, ensuring the irrigation system is in working condition, and walking the property to identify any potential liabilities.
Complete service requests by testing/inspecting safety equipment and devices, perform water/sewer extractions, replace blinds and A/C filters, and other tasks assigned by the Lead Maintenance.
Change front door and mailbox locks before turning the unit back over to the leasing team.

Our Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday; 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday; closed, Sunday. The Make Ready position requires the ability to work any of the seven days of the week, 52 weeks of the year. Hours of operation are subject to change on time of year and based on the Property's needs and resident activities.
Physical Demands:
Ability to continuously walk for 8 or more hours per day. It is estimated an Assistant Lead Maintenance technician will spend 99-100% of their time moving and on their feet.
Frequently moving boxes weighing up to 50 pounds across the office for various needs. Frequently transporting and moving appliances up to 100 pounds in and out of apartments and across various distances.
Must have the ability to climb, stoop, bend and grasp objects.
Visual acuity to perform the following: transcribing, operating machines, and motor vehicles, determining accuracy and neatness of work assigned, as well as visual inspection involving small defects and parts.
Must be able to remain in a stationary sitting position or stationary standing position 90% of the time.
