JOB SUMMARY:

The primary role of the Production Utility Specialist is to act as a production floater between departments (based on business needs). Primary job responsibilities will fall within the Receiving and Inventory function, but employees may also perform Shipping, Gearbox Assembly Support and general labor functions associated with facility expansions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with duties related to production, production expansion and interdepartmental production flow.

• Assist with general shipping duties including the receiving of material and freight, cycle counting, part inspections, material replenishing, pulling and putting away material and other inventory needs to support the production of gearbox assembly and the plant.

• Receive shipments & assist in distribution of material and parts to the proper location in the warehouse.

• Assist in the unloading of incoming parts and product placement within Inventory.

• Assist in the pulling of parts from inventory in preparation of gearbox assembly.

• Other various shop-floater duties that revolve around production expansion or production fulfillment.

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: 1-2 years preferred but not required. Forklift experience preferred but not required.

Skills and Key Attributes: Ability to read and write. Basic math skills.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for 10 hours/day.
